Projects - Brazil
Introduction
CMG Mineração Limitada (CMGM) is an incorporated
and registered Brazilian minerals exploration company, a wholly
owned subsidiary of Australian-based CMG Gold Limited (CMG). CMG is
a wholly owned subsidiary of Venturex Resources Limited.
CMGM has acquired directly, and negotiated
agreements to acquire, 100% interests in a portfolio of high quality
gold exploration projects in the states of Pará and Mato Grosso in
central Brazil.
The portfolio comprises nine core projects with a
total tenement area of approximately 1,200km2.

Location of CMGM's Gold Projects
The projects are located in three major gold provinces - the prolific Tapajós province in Pará; and the Alta Floresta and Cuiabá Basin provinces in Mato Grosso.
The geology and the style of mineralisation at each of the projects provides the potential for world class deposits.
The criteria used to carefully select these projects include:
Potential for a gold resources > 1 million ounces
Demonstrated mineralisation in outcrop and evidence of previous or current gold production
The presence of immediate drill targets and the ability for rapid assessment and advancement
Projects are located within regions serviced by mining towns with local infrastructure to permit exploration and mining operations
A strong exploration, management and logistical support team is based in Cuiabá, the state capital of Mato Grosso. Cuiabá hosts excellent resource sector infrastructure and transport links throughout the state and country.
In addition to the current projects, CMGM may also seek to pursue other complementary resource opportunities in Brazil or South America that the Directors consider have the potential to add value for Shareholders.
