Mr Anthony (Tony) Kiernan

Mr Kiernan is a solicitor with extensive experience gained over 35 years in the management and operation of listed public companies.  As both a lawyer and general consultant, he has practiced and advised extensively in the fields of resources, media and information technology.  He is Chairman of BC Iron Limited and Uranium Equities Limited and a director of Chalice Gold Ltd and Liontown Resources Limited, all listed on the ASX.

Dr Tim Sugden
Managing Director - appointed 18/8/08

Dr Sugden has over 20 years experience in mine geology, exploration, metallurgy, research and development, operations and company management in Australia and internationally. He was a mine geologist and senior research geologist in the nickel, gold and copper-uranium divisions of Western Mining Corporation; a senior mine and exploration geologist for Wiluna Mines and Great Central Mines, and General Manager of Wiluna Gold Operations for Normandy Mining and Newmont Australia. He was a founding Director of Agincourt Resources Limited and Nova Energy Limited, and operated in executive capacities in these companies prior to their takeovers for a combined value of over $650 million. He has served as a Non-Executive Director of Toro Energy Ltd and Navigator Resources Ltd, and is currently Chairman of Acacia Coal Limited.

Dr Allan Trench
Non-Executive Director - appointed 12/11/08

Dr Trench is a geologist/geophysicist and business management consultant with approximately 20 years experience within the Australian resources sector across a number of commodity groups. Dr Trench holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the Royal School of Mines, a Doctorate in Geophysics from Glasgow University, a Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from Oxford University and a Master of Science (Distinction) in Mineral Economics from the Western Australia School of Mines. He commenced his career as an academic at Oxford University in England before moving to Australia on a Royal Society Fellowship. After a period at the University of Western Australia, he joined Western Mining Corporation serving in exploration and operations-based roles including as Exploration Manager for the Leinster-Mt Keith region. Dr Trench then managed a number of exploration companies before joining McKinsey & Company as a management consultant. In his role at McKinsey, Dr Trench was an advisor to a number of large international resources companies on strategic, organisation and operational issues. From 2004 to 2006, Dr Trench was employed as a corporate strategist and benchmarking manager at Woodside Energy, helping to build Woodside's capability in strategy, benchmarking and performance improvement across its global asset portfolio. Dr Trench served as Non-Executive Chairman of Venturex from November 2008 to July 2010, and also serves as a Non-Executive Director for a number of other emerging resources companies. In addition, Dr Trench is the Professor (Value & Risk) at the Centre for Exploration Targeting, University of Western Australia; Professor, Department of Energy & Mineral Economics, Curtin University Graduate School of Business; and currently holds the title of Adjunct Professor at the Western Australia School of Mines, Curtin University.

Mr John Nitschke
Non-Executive Director - appointed 30/8/11

Mr Nitschke is a mining engineer with over 35 years' experience in the mining industry, including substantial experience operating at senior management levels in large resource companies. Recent roles include Executive General Manager (EGM) Projects and Technical Services for OZ Minerals Limited, EGM Australian Operations for Oxiana Limited, and EGM Development for Newmont Australia and Normandy Group. Significant development projects managed by Mr Nitschke include the Golden Grove Underground Zinc Operation, the Prominent Hill Copper Gold Project and the Sepon Copper Expansion Project. He is also Chairman of TSX-V Continental Nickel Limited, and a Non-Executive Director of ASX listed IMX Resources Limited and Toro Energy Limited.

Mr Anthony Reilly
Executive Director - appointed 1/7/09

Mr Reilly has over 17 years experience in financial markets, financial risk management and corporate finance. Working in investment banking, his clients have included a number of global corporations and fund managers based in Australia, the UK and Europe. He has worked with the Commonwealth Bank in Australia and the UK, and was Senior Manager at Westpac in London from 1997-2007. He was a founding Director of CMG.

Ms Liza Carpene
Company Secretary - appointed 26/8/08

Ms Carpene has worked in the mining industry for more than 12 years and has significant experience in corporate administration, human resources, IT and community relations. She was part of the initial executive management team of Agincourt Resources Limited as the General Manager - Administration, Human Resources and IT for Australian and Indonesian operations, prior to its takeover by Oxiana Limited in April 2007. Prior to working at Agincourt, Ms Carpene held various site based management roles with Great Central Mines, Normandy Mining and Newmont Australia. She is also currently Company Secretary for Newland Resources Limited.
